THE GOLD COIN STORY

THE GOLD COIN

An original idea about an ancient concept.

by Eduardo Blanco
A story inspired by David Dilaj

Once upon a time there was a little boy from the town of Gubin in the ancient Poland. His name was Eiwan.

Eiwan was born into a very poor family. The mother always taking care of little Eiwan and the tiny piece of land they had in the backyard. The father working the mines looking for coal to warm up his family during the cold winters.

Even thou money was always scarce, love was always bountiful. It was a beautiful family where everyone looked after each other.

Little Eiwan loved to play and laugh but didn't have too many friends. He was always looked down for his poor upbringings and garments, very clean though but all teared up and full of patches.

The other boys were quite mean to him but he didn't care. He knew one day those boys would see beyond his appearance and find that he is just as good as anybody else.

One day, while playing by the river Oder, little Eiwan looked down into the crystal waters of the river and saw his own reflexion. But his reflection wasn't all that he saw. Right through his forehead, between his eyebrows of his own image reflected on the water, little Eiwan saw a gold coin sitting at the bottom of the river. He couldn't believe his eyes. His jaw dropped to the floor and his eyes open so widely that he felt as if they were coming out of its sockets.

Without any thought he reached down to grab the coin, but the coin happened to be deeper than he anticipated, and with a sudden movement little Eiwan felt into the icy waters of the mighty river. His mind was only focused on the gold, and little Eiwan swam into the dark depths of his own ambition. Almost out of breath, he takes a final push and finally grabs the coin. Oh, and he was happy.

He opened his little hand underwater and looked at his new possession. It almost covered completely his tiny palm.

- "Mother is going to be so happy! Surely she'll prepare a feast for the whole family"- Thought little Eiwan.

In that moment, a long and wicked root from the biggest tree standing at the edge of the river came through the walls and traps the little boy's leg. Little Eiwan felt like bony and old hand grabbing his skin by one of the holes on the back of his pants.

Oh my God! - little Eiwan was running out of air.

He knew he needed to swim up and at the same time free himself from whatever was holding him down. But with one arm to swim and the other one holding the coin he was going nowhere.

He needed to make a decision. He needed to let go of the gold coin to free himself and swim back to the surface as fast as possible.

- "I don't want to die, mother and father would be devastated" - mumbled in the water little Eiwan.

He dropped the coin and it fell back to the same spot where little Eiwan found it, and he freed himself and swam up to the river bank.

little Eiwan's mother was waiting for him back at home. Supper was served, same as always: A potato boiled in hot water with spices and love.

- "Where you been Eiwee? Why are you all wet?" - Asked mother worried.

- "I felt into the river" - little Eiwan said while sitting at the table and telling his mom the story of the gold coin.

Father was listening behind the door and when he hears about the gold coin, he desperately begins to question the little boy.

-"Tell me more my boy! Where is that coin? Show papa the exact place boy, COME ON! - Father started to get very intense. His voice started to get louder and louder. Father could only think about all he could buy with that coin. All the coal for winter and food that probably would last until next harvest. Father's intentions were good but his ambition drove him mad.

Father took little Eiwan back to the river and made the boy show him where the coin was, and so he did.

Father waited no moment to dive into the river.

- "Be careful dad." - little Eiwan shouted but father couldn't hear, he was already going deep into the waters.

Mother and little Eiwan saw Father dive deep and grab the coin; and they felt happy. Was right then, when they realised the same wicked root got hooked on Father's pants. And little Eiwan started to cry.

- "Why are you crying?" - Asked Mother "You know father is strong, he'll free himself easily"

- " But I know that root and I also know father, and he won't let go of the coin to free himself" - Said little Eiwan crying.

In that moment Mother saw father struggling to come back up.

- "Help, Help. Please someone help us PLEASE!" - Mother shouted as she began to panic.

In the meantime....

An old man was looking the scene from the other side of the river but without reaction to the tragedy.

- "Sir, please help my husband" - Said Mother as soon as she sees the old man.

- "Please sir, my dad is drowning trying to get a gold coin"- Said little Eiwan.

The old man, looks up and calmly said:

- "No little boy, your dad is not drowning trying to get a gold coin. He is drowning for his ambition and inability to let go of it. I'm sorry there's nothing I can do."- And the old man turned around and disappeared into the mist of the mighty river.

Right there, in front of little Eiwan and his mother, Father was gone. He simply vanished. Disappeared. The only thing left was the gold coin which sat at the same spot, for all to see and for all time's sake.

Moral: Never let your ambitions stop you from living, loving and sharing.

MANIFESTO: THIS IS IT, IAM.333

IAM
THE LUMINESCENCE OF DARKNESS
Synopsis

We all think we know everything about living until we die, but very few have the opportunity to remember death before coming back to life.
This is the story of one man who at the age of 33, and after building himself all the way to the top, realised there was something still missing, something was simply not right and out of synch. This is when life became a struggle and the search for something new began.
Eduardo did not try to avoid pain; instead he sank into it, destroying himself willingly and to the point of no return. What he found on the other side stunt him back to life, a powerful voice with an opportunity to transform himself, his life and his world.

2007. The first close to death experience came as the result of deep depression and the diagnosis of a so-called incurable disease. With nothing to hope for, he simply let go of life and dreams, and allowed death to take him away. It was then that something very strange happened. A light, not of visual description but a sensation of love, gave him the farewell kiss into the abyss. Never expecting to come back, three days later he woke up into another reality, a new world order had been laid down in front of him, with more senses and abilities to experience a new life.
But some minds are wild and untameable. To make it real he needed proof, feelings are good, but understanding those feelings in practical ways became a challenge. Many times he thought he lost his way. Madness was a mask he wore in disguise for what was really going on. Confusion and delusion made his daily companions; only his light could guide him through the dark. And from that darkness, sparks of life suddenly appeared, not a magic cure but the ability to heal in miraculous ways.
Life became a dream and a purgatory there after. Ego versus Spirit made battle for many years, each one getting stronger and stronger, in the knowing that no one would ever come out victorious.

2012. The second close to death experience came as a cry for answers. Much information had been reveled to him, but nothing felt tangible. “Who am I, and why do I have to kill myself again?” Those were the questions on his mind when his heart asked him to give up all material possessions and walk with nothing among trees in the land of the jaguar. By then, he had learned to follow his intuition more than logic. Mainly because it made life fun, a game full of adventures unfolding like magic stories, with angels and demons, fairies and queens. But then, on the great alignment of 11.11.11; on that faithful night in paradise of the eleventh of November 2011… Nothing happened. Expectation became frustration and sadness took over. “What it’s going on? Fuck it! I’m not playing your game anymore. I don’t want it” and this attitude sealed his fate. Pneumonia withered 95% of his lungs away, and then the epidemic of swine flu finished him off inside a Mexican hospital. What follows is a drama of epic proportions. Nothing was impossible anymore; reality was too scary to believe. 9 days in coma with a certainty of death made his mother become a real Akasha, the only being capable of giving life back to him. Meanwhile, He was experiencing the transformation to become immortal. The journey throughout hell and heaven, with all questions about life and death answered. And when he woke up, he remembered.

This is the book that shares that experience. Not to be believed, for it has nothing to offer, but to be trusted that whatever comes out of it’s meant to serve life. “When death becomes only the fear of not living and not the unavoidable truth, then and only then fear retracts and only life is left.”

A note from me:
HIV has become the greatest blessing in my life. Now I know when things are wrong and I begin to die. If I want to change that, I have only to live accordingly to my nature and immediately I heal and live forever.

One of the many, many facts I was given and brought back to life with me is the certainty that we heal. The moment that we don’t, we simply die. HIV is an idea that kills; nothing more, nothing less and we can always choose what to think.

The Great Diamond Story

Inspired by Craig Peters.

This is the story of the greatest diamond that have ever existed. This diamond it's so huge that everyone desires to have it, touch it, see it or at least hear it.

...and it all began in one little village in the middle of the Celtic woods. There, everything was green and luscious, beautiful scenery of a eternal spring day. Sunny, colourful; joyous with bird songs, fresh aromas of wet grass and naughty flowers. The perfect place to never grow old.

Every person in that magical place knew of little Chris. Chris the smart, the helpful, the wise. For he was always present when you needed him the most, either to help you carry a stone, or carry you after a broken bone. He'd appeared out of nowhere and to nowhere he'd return once his helpful tricks would take you for a ride.
To him, little Chris, everyone would ask about the Great Diamond. Everyone knew of its existence, but nobody knew where to find it. Many have told the many stories over the many generations. Thousands of stories of great men and women who once had the grace of coming closer to the shiny crystal. Some said they even touched it once, but no one has ever hold it long enough. For it is elusive to the darkness of the soul. The more you wanted it the less you could have it.
Only those of pure white heart could ever dream to come close to it. Only him of clear intentions could hear the calling of its love.
One day, little Chris found himself battered and sad with thoughts of no control. He who helped everything and everyone could not come to help himself for his heart hold one big secret, the secret of his origens and destination.
Little Chris lived in a timeless world of no future and no past, making a living by helping to live. However, in return for his services, as a pay, he would only get, time after time the same question from those he helped. -Where is the Great Diamond? I know you know. Please tell me boy, where it is?

Little Chris knew that every time after helping someone in need, the same question would pop out of that person's mouth making him retract into darkness where he'd pondered alone, until somebody else would need of him again, awakening his strength and will to serve.

On that day little Chris began to run in search of answers. Guided only by a beautiful song in the back of his head, the sound of silence, the clear ringing of the Great Diamond who called upon him to come and help him be.
Running blind he could hear the voices of the people he once helped, serving as guides across the mighty land. Rrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnggggggg the Great Diamond rang. "Hurry Chris I need your help" but he could see nothing, no diamond, no light... and he began to cry. Rivers of tears flow and a pond form below. He, absorbed in a trance of sadness, empty and weak let all his darkness flow. Tears and more tears were cried from little Chris' eyes.

Where is the Great Diamond? he could hear, thousands of voices calling for him. "I DONT KNOW" the boy cried out loud, and as his tears flooded the soil where he sat, and he began to sink into the ground.- He didn't care, as he had renounced ownership of life, and he kept on crying. Whipping.
Rrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnggggggg was all he could hear, as the ground swallowed him alive.

In that moment, somewhere else, all the villagers heard the call. Rrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnngggggg. - "IT'S THAT BOY"- Everybody shouted at once. - "He has found the Great Diamond!"
Rrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnggggggggg - "We must go to him at once, he needs of all of us!" - But nobody knew where to find him or how to look for him. Then, The Elder of the Clan shouted - "IN DARKNESS, You'll find the boy in Darkness" And so, everyone closed their eyes and began to walk in darkness, trusting that the sound of the Great Diamond would guide them to the boy.

Seconds after, a voice was heard. - "IAM the light that shows you your heart, I am the boy that helps you survive. I am the servant that keeps you alive, I am the Great Diamond please find me."

And all the villagers found the boy and it was a beautiful day. Shiny, clear blue skies when one boy found his home.

Moral: Always trust your darkness for it will guide you to the light.
